NB: For this position we are only considering candidates already located inside of the Netherlands, and we cannot provide relocation services.
I am looking for multiple Senior/Lead Data engineers with strong Azure experience for various data engineering teams in the Randstad area. You will be an intricate part and lead the team develop and maintain the real time data platform, be in charge of the platform infrastructure and reliability, oversee all data processes end-to-end, developing analytics to support other departments and ensure data driven business decisions while teaching and coaching a small team of data engineers.
Main expectations for the role are:
- 6+ years' experience in data engineering (Azure cloud and DataBricks are a must)
- Strong experience in designing, developing and maintaining real-time data pipelines for streaming and batch processing
- Knowledge of data compliance, privacy, security and governance to meet regulatory standards
- Proven track record of delivering real time data solutions, including optimization and large scale data infrastructure for high performance activity
- Expert in Python, PySpark, SQL, and confident with large data sets
- Technical expertise in containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Worked with Data Lakes, CI/CD pipelines and a DevOps environment
- For one of the positions, DataOps, MLOps and dbt knowledge are a plus
- Great team leading skills and communication, working in an Agile environment.
