Air Compressor Service Technician - Charlotte, NC
Position: Full-Time
Location: Charlotte, NC
Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 + Overtime + Bonuses
Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance on air compressors, dryers, filters, and associated compressed air apparatus.
- Analyze electrical diagrams and machine malfunctions for troubleshooting purposes.
- Deliver technical support, conduct start-ups, installations, and repairs for air compressors, dryers, tanks, and all relevant compressed air equipment.
- Generate comprehensive written assessments, recommendations, and company reports. Proficiency in utilizing service software for communication and scheduling.
- Demonstrate a positive outlook and a commitment to expanding an existing sales and service enterprise.
- Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of company vehicles.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety statutes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as delegated.
Requirements:
- Solid mechanical aptitude and adept problem-solving abilities.
- Customer service-oriented with strong consulting skills.
- Capable of collaborating effectively within a team setting.
- Demonstrates a robust work ethic and can operate efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication talents, evident in interactions with engineering, technical support, sales, management, and clientele.
- Comprehensive comprehension of manufacturing products and equipment.
- Exemplary organizational capabilities coupled with keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional time management proficiencies, consistently meeting deadlines.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior hands-on experience in servicing compressed air equipment.
- Previous employment track record of 2 to 3 years in a service-oriented company.
