Your Responsibilities:

  • Engage in customer-specific engineering within the automation domain, adhering to relevant norms, guidelines, and engineering standards.
  • Undertake PLC/PLS programming for control, visualization, operation, and regulation concepts during project phases, collaborating closely with product engineering.
  • Assume responsibility for the creation and upkeep of technical documentation, including the adaptation of existing system descriptions, circuit diagrams, and specifications.
  • Participate in hardware planning and manage order processing with suppliers and external service providers.
  • Evaluate the technical feasibility of customer requests and product adaptations.
  • Handle customer queries and customize existing products as necessary.
  • Contribute to the development of system solutions leveraging existing products.
  • Support bidding, sales, or project managers in direct customer interactions.
  • Provide customer experience insights to inform product management and development.

Your Profile:

  • Hold a degree in electrical/automation engineering or equivalent education with relevant training.
  • Possess experience in planning, project planning, and implementing automation systems in process plant engineering.
  • Proficient in control engineering, international regulations, safety controller programming, and working with fieldbus systems.
  • Deep knowledge of Siemens (Step7, TIA) and/or Beckhoff controllers (Twincat) is advantageous.
  • Experience in hardware planning with common electrical CAE systems is desirable.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and customer-oriented problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and English.
  • Exhibit quick comprehension, analytical thinking, and a passion for creative problem-solving.
