Our customer is in search of a technical writer with a developer/analyst background to contribute to delivering outstanding customer experiences through our loan origination solutions. This person will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to iteratively deliver top-notch software within an agile environment.
Our Customer is looking for a highly proficient and motivated Technical Analyst/Writer to join our dynamic team, focusing on the development of application software within the loan origination domain. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of credit reporting, automated bill payment solutions, and a demonstrated ability to interpret intricate data structures within databases. As a Technical Analyst/Writer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration and performance of our loan origination systems.
- Requirements Analysis
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and users to comprehensively gather and understand requirements for loan origination software applications.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Demonstrate a profound understanding of credit reporting mechanisms and automated bill payment solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in loan origination and financial software development.
- Proficiently navigate and query databases to extract and analyze relevant data.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Organize knowledge in collaboration tools (e.g., wikis) using creative, easy-to-navigate constructs.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (developers, QA engineers, and business analysts) to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide technical support and expertise throughout the software development life cycle.
- Own the user story creation process from inception to development readiness.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to loan origination systems promptly.
- Propose and implement effective solutions to optimize system performance and user experience.
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, technical communications, or a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent training and/or work experience.
- Proven experience in technical analysis and support for application software development in the financial sector.
- Ability to convey complex concepts in writing using clear and concise language, with the capacity to summarize and communicate impactfully.
- Understanding of system architecture sufficient to produce clear and accurate technical documentation.
- In-depth knowledge of credit reporting, automated bill payment solutions, and loan origination processes.
- Strong proficiency in navigating databases and writing SQL queries.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Organized and passionate about enabling teams and curating knowledge in collaboration tools (e.g., wikis) with the creation of easy-to-navigate constructs.
- Strong bias for action and a learning-by-doing mindset.
- Thrive working in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the financial sector.
- Experience with automated testing and quality assurance processes.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
