I am working with a leading medical device company specializing in neuromodulation therapies for migraine. The innovative, ultra-thin implant is designed to alleviate the frequency and severity of migraine attacks by delivering gentle electrical pulses to the nerves associated with the condition. Currently in the clinical development stage and exploring potential applications of the device for treating cluster headaches and other neurological disorders. Recognized with the Breakthrough Device Designation by the FDA, we are committed to expediting market access for devices addressing life-threatening or irreversibly debilitating conditions.

The Challenge:

We are seeking a dynamic electronics engineer to join our team. Collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary team and suppliers, you will play a key role in enhancing our product design for manufacturability and reliability. Your focus on quality and innovative solutions will be instrumental in driving our product to new heights.


- Identify opportunities to enhance product design for manufacturability while ensuring system performance, reliability, risk management, compliance with standards, and cost-effectiveness as production scales.

- Work with subcontractors to optimize production processes, test solutions, and mitigate manufacturing risks, while upholding product safety and performance standards.

- Establish production documentation requirements to maintain compliance and consistency with design specifications.

Your Profile:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.

- Proven experience in mature product design and life-cycle management.

- Familiarity with electronics manufacturing services (EMS) processes, including SMT and in-circuit testing.

- Knowledge of technical documentation standards in regulated industries.

- Strong communication skills, practical mindset, and ability to bridge design and production teams.

- Minimum of four years of experience in electronics product development, with proficiency in PCBA design tools and methodologies (DfM, DfX, FMEA, etc.).

- Results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and drive for success.
